Standard EU registration and reporting format established for producers of electrical and electronic equipment

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/290 establishes a harmonised data structure and format for the registration and reporting of producers of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) for all EU Member States. This aims to reduce the administrative burden for producers operating in several Member States.

The data requirements include producer, compliance scheme and product details.

The new format applies from 1 January 2020.
