The Challenge

Per– and polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) are a large group of chemical substances. PFAS persist in the environment, accumulate in living organisms and pose a risk to human health and the environment which has led to certain PFAS being regulated all around the globe.

There is significant legislative activity concerning additional measures to reduce the risks associated with PFAS, including proposals for restrictions under EU REACH and reporting under US TSCA.
