Four new substances have been added to the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern. There are now 209 SVHCs.

The new SVHCs and examples of their uses are shown in the table below:

SCIP database received 5 million notifications for harmful chemicals in products

Since 5 January, companies have had to submit data to ECHA on chemicals of concern in their products. Over five million notifications have already been received in the SCIP database, and the data will be published in the coming months.
